These teaming arrangements achieve multiple and diverse objectives. For starters, utility customers gain from new clean energy choices. Sterling Planet markets renewable electricity to utility partner's residential and small business customers, offering regional or state-based blends that are customized for each service area.  In the commercial and industrial sector, Sterling Planet provides customized ‘green power’ blends to big-volume customers. 

In the Renewable Energy Certificate arena, Sterling Planet serves utilities in both buying and selling arrangements.  Utilities turn to the company to sell their excess Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to the national market.  On the other hand, Sterling Planet also provides utilities with RECs in order to meet their government mandates.
